Global Health & Pharma is delighted to once again open submissions for the annual International Life Sciences Awards, celebrating the continued efforts of professionals across the vast Life Sciences industry!
Drawing together scientific leaders across the Human, Animal, and Plant Life sectors, the International Life Sciences Awards 2022 are here to recognise the vital work and impressive talent which drives the industry and grows more abundant each year. Now more than ever we wish to support the efforts of an industry so crucial to our understanding of disease and the preservation of the environment around us.
Launched in 2016, each year Global Health & Pharma welcomes nominations from all areas of this vast industry, including Animal Science, Agrotech, Biology, Botany, Environmental Science, Genetics, Pharmacology, Virology, and more. In addition, we also accept nominations from CROs and CMOs alongside the numerous businesses and products which support this sector.
With a shift towards digitisation long-awaited in Life Sciences alongside continued integration of AI, experts are predicting increasing opportunities for investment in this arena. The pandemic also highlighted the huge potential that collaborations and partnerships between organisations can bring, sparking optimism amongst experts for further partnerships!

Past winners include Ochre Bio, who were awarded Most Innovative Early-Stage Biotech Company – UK in 2021, and Sitetica Limited, who achieved recognition as Global Leaders in Sustainable Anaesthesia 2020.
From Nutraceuticals to Neuroscience, and every specialism in between, Global Health & Pharma is determined to raise the profile of every celebrated awardee. Methodology

Researching Global Health & Pharma nominees
The team work hard in identifying great businesses, driving many of the nominations themselves. The team encourage external nominations from GHP magazine subscribers, web visitors, social media following, clients and wider circulation. Nominating parties are invited to put forward either their own business or third-party companies whom they hold in high regard.

Shortlisting our nominees
All nominees are formally requested to accept their nomination, all firms and individuals are obviously free to accept or decline if they so wish. Those who formally accept are given the opportunity to submit supporting information. There is no obligation to supply such material, we have found however that many nominees value this stage, in the process, as do our research team.

Judging & evaluating nominees
Our dedicated research team assess all information presented to them. The team gather information independently from a variety of publicly accessible sources, which are assessed alongside any material supplied by a nominating party or by the nominee themselves. The research team casts their final judgment based on various criteria such as great contribution to the global healthcare or pharmaceutical industries, longevity, diversification, sustained or continued growth, significant innovations, feedback from patients and customers etc.

Reaching out to winners
Once winners are selected, they are personally notified before any public announcement is made, allowing time for any communications throughout the wider business and the coordination of marketing strategies. Unfortunately, not everyone can be a winner; however, all who take part are encouraged to come back next year. Once the press embargo is lifted, details of our award winners will be made public via the GHP website, award winners’ magazine and subscriber newsletter.

Make the most of your win
We offer a range of promotional packages and items to GHP award winners, these vary from inclusion in the free-of-charge winners’ directory, trophies, content in our magazine and content on our website.
We encourage winners to publicly announce their win independently in order to gain maximum exposure. Announcements via company websites, blogs, social media, via publicly released press releases, and through local and national press are all great ways of maximising the exposure which can be gained from such a great achievement. If you have need of further advice on how to publicise your win, please feel free to get in touch.
