About the International Life Sciences Awards
Global Health & Pharma is pleased to announce the International Life Sciences Awards are returning for their eighth edition! Each year these awards celebrate the wide scope of excellence shown across the global Life Sciences industry, and as a well-established programme, this presents the perfect platform to showcase your success and stand out amongst competitors.
The International Life Sciences Awards are open to nominations across the Human, Animal and Plant Life sectors, as well as the service providers, CMOs, and CROs who support the industry. Over the past few years, the Life Sciences sector has been called upon to act more rapidly than ever before. By continuing to play such an integral part in everyday life, we feel it is vital to recognise and reward those who work so diligently within this sector.
The Life Sciences Industry is in a time of constant change. A highly adaptive industry which embraces developments, the scientific sector expertly exemplifies how to overcome challenges. With the progression to AI-based technologies and improvements within the pharmaceutical R&D processes, the Life Sciences Industry is the perfect specimen to display the importance of transformation. Innovation is key for this sector and failing to innovate can prove to be detrimental. In 2023, experts predict that innovative management procedures will be crucial for continued growth.
Global Health & Pharma utilises this awards programme to highlight the worthy companies who have excelled in their respective fields. Standing out amongst your competitors is an important factor for companies to consider, and we at Global Health & Pharma are proud to help you achieve this aim by celebrating vital contributions made across the past 12 months. Showcasing your successes is also a significant factor in improving employee morale, and in an industry where employees are in high demand, maintaining your workforce is essential. Exhibiting yours and your team’s accomplishments is therefore key for employee retention.

Researching Global Health & Pharma nominees
The team work hard in identifying great businesses, driving many of the nominations themselves. The team encourage external nominations from GHP magazine subscribers, web visitors, social media following, clients and wider circulation. Nominating parties are invited to put forward either their own business or third-party companies whom they hold in high regard.
Shortlisting our nominees
All nominees are formally requested to accept their nomination, all firms and individuals are obviously free to accept or decline if they so wish. Those who formally accept are given the opportunity to submit supporting information. There is no obligation to supply such material, we have found however that many nominees value this stage, in the process, as do our research team.
Judging & evaluating nominees
Our dedicated research team assess all information presented to them. The team gather information independently from a variety of publicly accessible sources, which are assessed alongside any material supplied by a nominating party or by the nominee themselves. The research team casts their final judgment based on various criteria such as great contribution to the global healthcare or pharmaceutical industries, longevity, diversification, sustained or continued growth, significant innovations, feedback from patients and customers etc.
Reaching out to winners
Once winners are selected, they are personally notified before any public announcement is made, allowing time for any communications throughout the wider business and the coordination of marketing strategies. Unfortunately, not everyone can be a winner; however, all who take part are encouraged to come back next year. Once the press embargo is lifted, details of our award winners will be made public via the GHP website, award winners’ magazine and subscriber newsletter.
Make the most of your win
We offer a range of promotional packages and items to GHP award winners, these vary from inclusion in the free-of-charge winners’ directory, trophies, content in our magazine and content on our website.
We encourage winners to publicly announce their win independently in order to gain maximum exposure. Announcements via company websites, blogs, social media, via publicly released press releases, and through local and national press are all great ways of maximising the exposure which can be gained from such a great achievement. If you have need of further advice on how to publicise your win, please feel free to get in touch.
