Welcome to our Social Care Awards 2022, proudly hosted by GHP News! We aim to recognise the enormous contributions of global organisations and professionals who have provided the best possible care and support within the social care sector, particularly during the incredibly challenging Covid-19 pandemic.

Social care is vital to provide direct help for those in need of physical, emotional and social support. Some of the services that are provided include welfare counselling services, aged-care assistance, adoption services, disabilities assistance and youth welfare etc.

For the fourth consecutive year, GHP News are here to announce the Social Care Awards 2022. The awards are open to all global & local public & private organisations, enterprises and professionals operating in social care.

Our awards are highly revered because the awards are based on best industry practice, innovation, leadership, adaptability and overall performance. Nominees must be able to demonstrate their work matches our awards criteria and show they have gone above and beyond their duties to deliver excellence in a social care setting.

Once a nominee has accepted their nomination, they will be added to the shortlist and be given the opportunity to provide us with supporting evidence via a tailor-made questionnaire. Those nominated for the Social Care Awards 2022 will be carefully judged solely on merit (as opposed to the number of nominations) by our in-house research team. The winners selected by the judges will receive their award and complementary marketing materials that will be valuable to their PR portfolio in publicising their win.

Taking part in the awards programme is a huge honour, being recognised for your dedication and talent, praised for your achievements and outstanding accomplishments all based 100% on merit! GHP News does not make a judgement based on the length of service, the number of employees or the size of the company.

Achieving the Social Care Awards 2022 will not only create the chance to boost your brands publicity but will also increase your credibility. The team work hard in identifying great businesses, driving many of the nominations themselves. The team encourage external nominations from GHP magazine subscribers, web visitors, social media following, clients and wider circulation. Nominating parties are invited to put forward either their own business or third-party companies whom they hold in high regard.

All nominees are formally requested to accept their nomination, all firms and individuals are obviously free to accept or decline if they so wish. Those who formally accept are given the opportunity to submit supporting information. There is no obligation to supply such material, we have found however that many nominees value this stage, in the process, as do our research team.

Our dedicated research team assess all information presented to them. The team gather information independently from a variety of publicly accessible sources, which are assessed alongside any material supplied by a nominating party or by the nominee themselves. The research team casts their final judgment based on various criteria such as great contribution to the global healthcare or pharmaceutical industries, longevity, diversification, sustained or continued growth, significant innovations, feedback from patients and customers etc.

Once winners are selected, they are personally notified before any public announcement is made, allowing time for any communications throughout the wider business and the coordination of marketing strategies. Unfortunately, not everyone can be a winner; however, all who take part are encouraged to come back next year. Once the press embargo is lifted, details of our award winners will be made public via the GHP website, award winners’ magazine and subscriber newsletter.

We offer a range of promotional packages and items to GHP award winners, these vary from inclusion in the free-of-charge winners’ directory, trophies, content in our magazine and content on our website.

We encourage winners to publicly announce their win independently in order to gain maximum exposure. Announcements via company websites, blogs, social media, via publicly released press releases, and through local and national press are all great ways of maximising the exposure which can be gained from such a great achievement. How long has Global Health & Pharma been in circulation for?+
Global Health & Pharma first launched in 2015 and is a global information sharing platform. Global Health and Pharma has a circulation of 260,000 and is one of the digital magazines published by AI Global Media, a UK based publisher which has published over 200 worldwide publications to its name since 2010.
Where did the nomination come from?+
We at Global Health & Pharma frequently nominate candidates ourselves. We also gather votes, we accept both self-nominations and of course third-party nominations. In the interest of maintaining high response rates, we do not ask nominees to reveal their personal identity. The main ethos of our awards system is that your ability to succeed is not linked to the number of votes received. As a means of identifying spam votes and countering cyber-threats, we monitor activity to the voting form.
What happens once I agree to be on the shortlist?+
As we look to keep maximum focus on relevant candidates, we ask all nominees to formally accept their position on the shortlist. This gives individuals and businesses the complete control in their decision on whether they would like to move forward with the award. There is no cost for you to be added onto the shortlist or if you go on to win. Nominees who accept will then proceed to our rigorous internal vetting procedure and are given an opportunity to present their own data which gets considered alongside the information collated by our research team. It can take up to 8 weeks for research to be completed.
Who determines the winners?+
We employ an entirely impartial panel of 5 individuals to conduct all of the research to a high standard. At the helm of the panel we have a veteran academic leader with international academic and training experience. The team are well versed in research, fact-checking and mediation. We believe this method is the most efficient in determining which individuals and companies are most deserving in winning an award and has brought us much success and commendation throughout its use. Our continued use of this panel plays a key part in enforcing Global Health & Pharma’s stance that winners are not determined by popularity of votes, but by their contributions to the sector.
Is there an award dinner and if so, when is it?+
We do not focus our efforts on a celebratory event. Despite being an enjoyable occasion, it doesn’t support our group’s philosophy of cost-effective marketing. As well as the lack of cost efficiency, Global Health & Pharma runs awards worldwide and we believe it would be logistically difficult for some of our winners to attend an awards ceremony. We follow the belief that any of the optional costs involved with the award would be more beneficial in a year’s worth of online marketing for a winner. All of our press announcements are made digitally, online and across our network to enforce our position as digital publishers. We aim to arm you with the tools (both digital and physical) to generate real-world value from your award win.
What happens if we go onto win?+
There is a short press embargo in place where we ask you not to make any public announcements surrounding your win giving us the chance to prepare the different means of coverage we offer. This means that during this period the program manager will liaise with you to agree on the most appropriate coverage for you. Our main feature takes the form of a digital celebratory magazine, but we also offer physical trophies, wall mounted and digital certificates, web-based advertisements and press releases. The wide variety of options are aimed to make the awards tailor made to each individual firm, no matter which option you decide to go for.
Is there a cost involved?+
There are no compulsory costs in accepting a nomination or winning an award with Global Health & Pharma. We do offer a variety of paid additional benefits for our winners, but these are entirely optional and are supportive to your award rather than essential. To demonstrate our commitment to no mandatory fees, all winners are offered a free of charge package. Our company policy will always remain: regardless of budget, our clients should always be able to garner the full value of the award and our seal of approval. We offer a variety of promotional opportunities to our winners. as we have an extensive network and we fully understand the wider business benefits from promoting industry awards.
