About the Technology Awards
GHP News is delighted to announce the Technology Awards 2021. The awards will celebrate businesses and professionals who have made exceptional contributions and innovations in the medical technology industry.
Over the years, the adoption of technology in the healthcare industry has led to greater prevention of illness, injury or other conditions, diagnosis, monitoring, treatment and care of patients. Across all sectors, the healthcare sector benefits most from technology because it improves quality of life and has saved many lives.
In addition, in recent years, there have been several technological advances in the health and medical fields, for example, 3D printing, artificial organs, robotic surgery, health wearables, virtual reality (VR), telehealth, etc.
The Technology Awards 2021 welcomes entries in all regions across the globe who work within the medical technology industry, this may be healthcare professionals, manufacturers, suppliers, associations, retailers, researchers and many more.
Entering the Technology Awards 2021 will provide you with the evidence to stand out in a world of professional competitors. The award will help boost your reputation, crediting you as a top performer in your industry, while increasing confidence in existing and potential clients. Moreover, your win can also improve your business internally, as a visual reminder that can raise employee morale and motivation.
Our awards are judged based on merit only, not the number of votes received. As such, our internal research team will carefully analyse any information available online and in the public domain, including any material provided by the nominees. Our process is to reward the parties for their industry excellence, overall performance, customer experience and incredible innovation. Those who become our deserving winners will be presented with their award and complementary marketing materials that will be valuable to their PR portfolio in promoting their win.
With a circulation of 260,000 professionals globally and 513,380 page views in the last 12 months, GHP News is the perfect platform for businesses and professionals looking to promote their brand, services and products across a global readership.

Methodology

Researching Global Health & Pharma nominees
The team work hard in identifying great businesses, driving many of the nominations themselves. The team encourage external nominations from GHP magazine subscribers, web visitors, social media following, clients and wider circulation. Nominating parties are invited to put forward either their own business or third-party companies whom they hold in high regard.

Shortlisting our nominees
All nominees are formally requested to accept their nomination, all firms and individuals are obviously free to accept or decline if they so wish. Those who formally accept are given the opportunity to submit supporting information. There is no obligation to supply such material, we have found however that many nominees value this stage, in the process, as do our research team.

Judging & evaluating nominees
Our dedicated research team assess all information presented to them. The team gather information independently from a variety of publicly accessible sources, which are assessed alongside any material supplied by a nominating party or by the nominee themselves. The research team casts their final judgment based on various criteria such as great contribution to the global healthcare or pharmaceutical industries, longevity, diversification, sustained or continued growth, significant innovations, feedback from patients and customers etc.

Reaching out to winners
Once winners are selected, they are personally notified before any public announcement is made, allowing time for any communications throughout the wider business and the coordination of marketing strategies. Unfortunately, not everyone can be a winner; however, all who take part are encouraged to come back next year. Once the press embargo is lifted, details of our award winners will be made public via the GHP website, award winners’ magazine and subscriber newsletter.

Make the most of your win
We offer a range of promotional packages and items to GHP award winners, these vary from inclusion in the free-of-charge winners’ directory, trophies, content in our magazine and content on our website.
We encourage winners to publicly announce their win independently in order to gain maximum exposure. Announcements via company websites, blogs, social media, via publicly released press releases, and through local and national press are all great ways of maximising the exposure which can be gained from such a great achievement. If you have need of further advice on how to publicise your win, please feel free to get in touch.
