GHP 2018 Animal & Wellness Awards

14 GHP / 2018 Animal & Wellness Awards , Wangford Veterinary Clinic Situated in the village of Wangford and just three miles from the coastal town of Southwold, Wangford Veterinary Clinic supports clients from across the region. The village itself is on the very edge of the Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and attracts a great deal of visitors, especially in the spring and summer months. Jill discusses the pets the clinic treats and how the specialist focus of its team of Vets helps it to treat a variety of patients. “Living in a rural part of the country, at Wangford Veterinary Clinic our clients are quite spread out across a wide area but seem happy to travel greater distances to see their practice of choice. Although the area is a favourite retirement destination, our clients are from a mixed age group. Some are visitors to the area, holidaying with their family pets. We also have a number of dog breeders and clients from the farming and shooting communities, so a varied mix of needs. Our largest group of clients by far are dog owners: however, we do see and treat all small animals and we have one Vet who has a special interest in treating the more exotic species of birds, reptiles and amphibians.” Walter Stöhr first opened the doors of Wangford Veterinary Clinic in April 2002, having gathered together a team of caring, compassionate professionals that have helped him make the AH180002 Most Trusted Local Vet Clinic 2018 - Suffolk Wangford Veterinary Clinic is a small animal practice that is fiercely proud to be one of the limited number of independents still remaining in this area. We recognise this and know most people consider a pet to be a family member. Our practice values friendliness, commitment and integrity, and the community that we serve is paramount. This is why we are so excited to win the award of Most Trusted Local Vet. We work hard to form lasting and genuine partnerships with all our clients and pets: they will never be just another case to us. We feel privileged to be trusted with the care of a family’s beloved pet.” Each and every member of the clinic’s team is committed to providing exceptional care and support for pet owners, and it is this that sets it apart from its competitors and has led to its vast success, as Jill highlights. It is the unique personality, the experience and passion of our vets and team, our customer service and personalised care that people trust and remember us for.
