Chris explores how the organisation has developed since it began to encompass a wider range of services to meet the needs of its service users. “At Bedspace, we believe that the basic need for safe and settled accommodation, with appropriate advice and support, is fundamental to the personal and social care of all service users. Our service users come to us at a very vulnerable stage in their lives. We match them with suitable accommodation and provide a range of support and advice services which are person centred and customised to match their individual requirements. “As a pioneer in this space, we were the first company in the North West of England to be GMAC accredited for the provision of ‘Semi Independent Supported Living’. We have Bedspace is an innovative, NorthWest based organisationwhose mission is to support its service users inmoving towards sustainable independent living.
