His recent receipt of both the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) Justin Millar Medal for outstanding clinical research and presentation, and the 2017 Frank Stinchfield Prize from the International Hip Society for outstanding contribution to the field of hip surgery give testament to the international significance of his work.
