Private Healthcare Awards 2023

11 GHP Private Healthcare Awards 2023 Early Life Ultrasound Centre has endeavoured to deliver exceptional and compassionate services for soon to be parents. Following its deserved recognition in the programme, we spoke with Clinic Manager Chrissie Cooper to find out how it has cultivated a near peerless reputation in the sphere. Ultrasound clinics tend to fly under the radar in the greater healthcare and medical space – understandable in some respects due to the nature of the work. But, there are some extraordinary experts and organisation in the sphere, driving the ultrasound sphere ever forwards. Early Life Ultrasound Centre certainly fits this mould, with services that have become distinguished through the team’s collective efforts. Chrissie begins by discussing how the centre goes above and beyond in terms of training newcomers to the company. “It takes a bit more to be a Sonographer at Early Life Ultrasound Centre. Our Sonographer’s undergo extra counselling training on top of their existing medical ultrasound qualifications. Empathy, Kindness and Compassion are key qualities that you can expect from our staff. It also helps when staff have already walked the parenting journey with its trials and tribulations and have an understanding of the emotions at this precious time. “Our aim is to enable parents to have access to ultrasound services throughout their pregnancy without having to be referred. Our services are designed to fit around your all-important routine scans. We offer Early Pregnancy Reassurance Scans from seven weeks, Gender Scans from 15 weeks four days, and 3D & 4D scans that include well-being and growth checks, should you need some extra reassurance in the third trimester.” Working hand in hand with the expertise and compassion of the team is the clinic itself, which has been designed from the outset to encourage peace of mind, as Chrissie continues. “We have created a quiet and calming environment that is achieved by widening the times between our appointments instead of cramming as many appointments into a clinic session. This offers you the chance to see your baby with your family, or perhaps just on your own giving you time to enjoy the experience. It also means that you have the opportunity to ask questions look through your images together in the privacy of the scan room.” “As soon as you step through the door of the Early Life Ultrasound Centre you can expect to be greeted with a welcoming, calming spa-like atmosphere.” With this in mind, the future of the centre remains one of growth and in developing upon the success the team have achieved. Private Ultrasound Practice of the Year - South West England Jan23559 Key to this is the newly refurbished centre that looks to define 2023 and beyond, as Chrissie concludes in her closing comments. “The new location is absolutely beautiful. We have taken a lot of care that our clinic is an extra special place to visit as we feel that the surroundings add to the whole experience. Our premises is newly refurbished and tastefully decorated in keeping with the Regency building that is our new home. We have created a calming atmosphere that offers privacy and feels more like a hotel than what is traditionally thought of as a clinic but, at the same time, is fit for work of a clinical nature.” Company Name: Early Life Ultrasound Centre Contact Name: Chrissie Cooper, Clinic Manager Address: 16 Ormond Terrace, Regents Street, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, GL50 1HR Web Address: Contact Email: [email protected] Telephone Number: 01242300810
