We spoke with Paul Hagopian, Co-Founder and Head of Client Partnerships, to find out more about their ground-breaking work in the sector. Since our formation three years ago, we have been fortunate enough to have launched five healthcare brands, and we are working with several other companies on upcoming launches. SPLICE achieved significant growth in 2018, expanding to 27 full-time employees and moving to a spacious new office in the San Francisco Bay Area.” Working in such a competitive market, SPLICE have had to differentiate themselves through a commitment to ‘being different’ – thriving on the back of originality and an ability to think outside the box. One of the benefits of being located here in their backyard is that we have created an agency infrastructure that is as evolved and agile as them. So, to keep on pace with them is not a challenge, as it would be for the larger holding company firms.” As they settle into their new office, SPLICE looks to further establishing their already impressive reputation in the sector. “SPLICE is thinking big for 2019. One event we’re highly anticipating in 2019 is the American Society of Clinical Oncology, where we will be building an interactive engagement experience in partnership with Duff Goldman and his Charm City Cakes Team (Food TV celebrity bakers) . Over the course of two days, the team will construct a 400-lb edible installation, concluding with a ceremony in celebration of cancer survivors.
