Now, just twelve years after the merger of two pioneeringmedical device companies, Centinel Spine is the recipient of Biotechnology Awards’ 2020 title of Leading Innovator of Spinal Surgery Products 2020. Centinel Spine was born in August 2008, following the successful merger-acquisition of two pioneering medical device companies: Raymedica LLC and Surgicraft LTD. Raymedica was founded in 1990, and became a recognized leader in nucleus replacement devices through the development of revolutionary products. Across an eighteen year lifespan, the company was responsible for developing and pioneering some of the most innovative technologies and surgical techniques used in spinal procedures today.
