Professional care is provided by Registered Nurses Situated in landscaped gardens in a quiet area of Bodmin, Cornwall, Castle Hill House Care Home offers award-winning nursing care to a variety of residents who are primarily elderly. Having recognised the home in our prestigious 2019 Social Care Awards we profile it to showcase the reasonwe felt it was worthy of one of these accolades. and Carers, all of whom work closely with local GP’s, Hospitals, Specialists, and Health and Social Care professionals who supplement the treatment. Everyone has their own individualised Care Plan so that all staff know exactly what each resident needs at all times, and this is constantly reviewed to ensure it is right if things change. Thanks to its quality care and support, Castle Hill House specialises in end of life care, and is able to offer residents a calm and safe environment when they are at their most vulnerable. Owners Tom and Debra, take an active part in running the home to ensure that Castle Hill House is run in a friendly, caring yet professional way. With investment made in the home’s facilities during the year mid-2007 to 2008 building a new 23 bed extension, the objective has been to create a Nursing Home facility for the future needs of the local community. A further refurbishment of the original house took place in 2014 and there are now some beautiful premium bedrooms available too. This choice ensures that every resident is able to enjoy the care they need in a space that is truly their own.
