Trauma and abuse cause deep, lasting wounds, and I work with clients towards personal transformation and wholeness. The creative arts, vital to me both personally and professionally – clay, paint, poetry, movement – help unlock lost parts in the counselling room. My training as a dancer informs my understanding of the role of the body in our psychological experience. Finding a voice and being listened to are key to healing - in the words of one of my poems, 'Silence is a sad way home.’
