Inclusive Neighbourhoods led the development of Local Area Coordination in England, Wales, Singapore, Western Australia and established the national LAC Network CIC (now led by Community Catalysts CIC). Local Area Coordination is a long term, integrated, evidence based approach alongside people from all ages and backgrounds. It builds individual, family, community capacity and resilience, reducing demand for and dependency on formal and funded services. It is a catalyst for wider, sustainable systems change. “A good health and social care system is one that helps people to not need (or need less) that system”.

There have been 14 independent evaluations in England and Wales the past 8 years, showing consistent, positive outcomes at individual, family, community and whole system levels, including 4:1 financial and social benefit.
