Traumhund® was the first label to launch an orthopedic dog bed. Before we entered the market in 2009, the term “orthopedic dog bed” was completely unknown. Meanwhile, almost every dog bed is orthopedic – at least if you believe the advertising. Since the term orthopedic cannot be protected, many suppliers adorn their products with this predicate, even if they are only filled with conventional materials that do not offer the dog any pressure relief. We fill exclusively with medical Visco foam.
