We profile the firm to learn more about the services it has to offer and its commitment to supporting its clients. Company: Mobile Care Services Ltd Contact: Helen McNelly Address: Unit A, Innage Park, Abeles Way, Holly Lane Industrial Estate, Atherstone, Warwickshire, CV9 2QZ, UK Phone: 01827 715537 Website: www.mobilecareservices.com Established in 1992, Mobile Care Services began with the belief that people should always have the right to choose how and where they receive their care and support. This stems from two fundamental principles: that customers should be offered the choice to be supported to remain at home if that is their wish and that any support that they receive should always be performed to an exceptionally high standard. From these initial concepts, the firm has since blossomed into a company providing a first-class domiciliary service to over 500 people across North Warwickshire, South-East Staffordshire and South-West Leicestershire. Since inception, the firm’s service evolved from a growing disengagement from the more traditional methods of care deliver such as residential homes. As Mobile Care Services has grown and expanded, the company’s core ethics, foundations and ideals have changed little, with its focus always on offering a highly personalised and individual service, maintaining customer satisfaction and the delivery of quality support services. The team believe firmly in the ethos of promoting inclusion, choice and control regardless of age, disability or difficulty and work to promote independence, wellbeing and self-esteem. Certainly over recent years, the Health and Social Care sector has and continues to experience significant challenges, but despite this, Mobile Care Services Ltd has remain committed to preserving the provision of accessible, high quality care and ensuring that the individual remains central to all that they do. In addition to their day to day services, Mobile Care Services Ltd has also placed significant focus upon responding to the needs of the wider community, and the often unseen role that informal carers play in supporting loved ones, family, friends and neighbours. In response to the challenge of ensuring that individuals can easily access information and support, the Company developed a dedicated Resource and Training Hub, where they provide Customers, their families, their personal assistants and the general public with various facilities, training and information. This includes practical information forums on relevant topics and conditions. As an example, they have held ‘Dementia Awareness Sessions” to enable families to better understand the progression of the condition itself, how and why it may effect individuals in certain ways, and to generally provide a greater knowledge of the principles that will ensure they are able to more confidently meet the needs of their relatives. The Company also hold quarterly coffee mornings where Customers, their families and friends from the local community can socialise with others. The findings are that such activities promote increased confidence and stimulation, help create wider, informal networks of support, decrease social isolation and ultimately have more positive impacts on long term outcomes. As evidenced, Mobile Care Services has adapted and evolved to ensure that it utilises the latest technology, whilst ensuring that the best interests of its customers are always at the heart of any decisions made. As part of this approach, the firm employs caring, passionate and professional individuals who strive to make a positive difference in its customers lives. Looking ahead, Mobile Care Services will continue to provide its clients with the same award-winning support and services they can truly rely on. Mobile Care Services Ltd
