Bioprex Medical develops an antimicrobial coating technology for application on medical devices and implants. Bacterial infections are the main risk when using medical devices and implants. Our aim is to reduce these infections associated with the use of medical devices.
The coating is based on immobilized quaternary ammonium compounds (QACs). Our proprietary coating technology efficiently kills bacteria upon contact, without being at risk to elicit bacterial resistance.
