Smarter Car is a smartphone app that can automatically detect and avoid traffic accidents by using just the sensors in the driver’s smartphone with no additional hardware needed. Once an accident is detected the app automatically sends a notification to the emergency response unit with the exact location of the accident and the driver’s medical details, while in the same time sends a notification to the driver’s emergency contact, and also to the traffic department to make sure the road is clear for the emergency response car to and from the hospital, this can reduce the response time by 50%.
