The Compassionate Friends is the UK’s only national charity for bereaved parents and families that offers peer support from bereaved parents to other parents bereaved by the loss of a son or daughter of any age from any cause.

No-one expects their children to die before they do, yet this happens every year to thousands of families, who then face a future in which their lives have been changed forever. The Compassionate Friends offer support and friendship through a range of services offered by other bereaved parents, including a helpline, local support groups and weekend retreats.
